Hill Crew works around the clock to open for White Friday, 11.25.16
(23 Nov 16) Cortland NY – Crews at Greek Peak Mountain Resort continue to work hard, in multiple shifts, to open the day after Thanksgiving. Since Sunday night, Greek Peak Mountain Resort has been blowing snow. A risky decision due to margin temperatures and humidity levels; however, a risk that the owners of Greek Peak, John Meier and Marc Stemerman, are willing to invest to get their valued season pass holders and customers back on the mountain to hit the trails.
Greek Peak is opening with 14 trails to include 7 Green/Easy; 3 Blue/Intermediate; 4 Black/Difficult. The resort has a 2”-14” base, and received 18” of natural snow over the last two days. Greek Peak will be open with lift access this Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 830a-4p. The lift ticket will be $49/day (Adult and Jr ticket).
Adventure Center and Tubing will be open 12p– 7p on Friday, 10a – 4p Saturday and 10a – 4p on Sunday with 4-6 tubing lanes.
As Greek Peak’s Season Opener on White Friday, November 25th, the resort will be offering $100 off their current season pass price plus a 10% bonus load on gift cards purchased that day. This year, season pass holders can load money on their pass so that they do not have to carry cash while hitting the slopes.
